Taking on your first buyer or tenant means managing more than a property search. This practical course walks newer agents through the transaction file, helping them understand the agreements, financing conversations, offer preparation, and follow-through involved in guiding consumers toward a successful transaction.

Participants will review buyer representation agreements, agency disclosures, and the differences between mortgage prequalification and preapproval. The class explores preparing and presenting competitive offers, understanding escalation clauses and appraisal-gap provisions, and coordinating paperwork and communication with attorneys and other professionals.

Local due diligence, including well-testing considerations, and digital tools for signatures and showing appointments are also covered. Agents will leave better prepared to organize their files, explain the process to consumers, and recognize issues that need attention before they become transaction problems.
