The goal of this course is to help licensees become better consumer advocates.  Emphasis is placed on the importance of agency and ethics, how they interact, and why compliance will provide a better real estate experience for the consumer. The structure and format of the course depend on the use of varied learning techniques in order to reach the broadest number of learners. This course is designed to reach the adult learner, acknowledging that learning happens in different ways for different people. Concepts of the NYS Law of Agency and the National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics are included through a variety of participatory exercises, including but not limited to both group and individual, video presentation and case examples.
