Governor Kathy Hochul signed a bill to aid consumers in informed home purchases in New York. This legislation, effective March 20, 2024, adds 7 flood-related questions to the Property Condition Disclosure Statement (PCDS) and makes a completed PCDS mandatory by eliminating the $500 credit option.
