Elective for License Renewal

Free for DCAR Members.

Instructor: J. Phillip Faranda

CE Credit Hours: 3.0

Challenging negotiations, competing offers, and unexpected setbacks can put even experienced REALTORS® to the test. This course explores how to advocate for clients while maintaining composure, integrity, and a clear focus on their goals.

Participants will learn to distinguish what they can influence from what is outside their control, manage client expectations, and provide guidance grounded in facts and market data. Topics include ethical decision-making, emotional resilience, fair treatment of others, and responding thoughtfully when transactions become stressful.

Through practical case studies—including advising clients on market conditions and navigating a competitive bidding war—participants will explore ways to balance strong client advocacy with professional conduct and sound judgment.
