Description

Implicit Bias: How the Mind Makes Decisions without You

Satisfies Implicit Bias Requirement for License Renewal

Instructor: Robin White

CE Credit Hours: 2.0

To truly serve all equally, we must work to remove implicit bias from every interaction with clients and colleagues. Implicit bias refers to the attitudes or stereotypes that unconsciously influence our understanding, actions, and decisions. Promoting professionalism in the workplace and equity in all real estate interactions ensures every demographic has a fair opportunity for homeownership. The best business practice we can instill in real estate agents and brokers is to uphold the right of every individual to buy or rent a home without bias.

Upon completion of this CORE requirement, participants will be able to define implicit bias, understand its history, recognize its impact on marginalized individuals and communities, and identify strategies to overcome personal bias in both life and the workplace.

This class will provide a safe and open environment for discussion, allowing space for honest questions and collaborative solutions.
