Credit plays a critical role in determining loan approvals, interest rates, and closing timelines. When problems arise—such as errors on reports, high utilization, or unresolved disputes—they can stall or even derail a transaction.

Through real-world case studies, practical strategies, and a REALTOR®-friendly tip sheet, participants will learn how to:

Understand credit reports and the differences between consumer scores and mortgage FICO scores.

Spot common credit pitfalls that can delay or jeopardize closings.

Guide clients toward healthy credit practices without stepping outside compliance.

Build trust and reduce fall-throughs by preparing buyers with actionable, ethical strategies.

By the end of the course, REALTORS® will feel more confident in setting client expectations, protecting their transactions, and strengthening the path to homeownership for more families.
