This course will look at the history of the fair housing laws and their enactment, the BIG picture of the various rules, regulations, and requirements of our profession and how they must be followed when dealing with sellers, buyers, landlords, tenants, etc.

This course will briefly address the history and legacy of segregation.

The lack of access to opportunity in housing based on the protected class.

Unequal treatment in housing based on the protected class.

Unequal access to amenities and resources based on the protected class.

Knowledge of the federal, state, and local fair housing laws.

A review of several cases to tie in the overall focus of the class

Doing the right thing by real estate agents for, your customers, clients and fellow agents is essential for agents’ success.

The knowledge and understanding of regulations which guide our real estate profession for the good of all.

Simply put, you cannot discriminate against anyone whether they are home buyers, sellers, renters, landlords etc. due to any certain characteristics, protected class, or personal bias.

Third No Show and all subsequent through 2021: $50 No Show Fee
