Cultural competence is an essential skill for real estate professionals to effectively communicate and meet the needs of their clients. This CORE Requirement encourages participants to actively explore how we experience culture—and how culture shapes real estate. New York State defines cultural competency as understanding cultural norms, preferences, and challenges within our diverse communities. This class is designed to equip real estate professionals with the tools to confidently navigate any cross-cultural interaction in their business.

Upon completion, participants will be able to recognize how culture influences real estate practices and apply cultural competence skills to address challenges and better serve clients across our diverse communities.
