Description:  The Senior market is the largest and the fastest growing age group in America.   These folks control the nation’s wealth and have a higher disposable income than any other age group.  More than 80% own their own home!  AND… according to the 2024 NAR Home Buyer and Seller Generational Trends, 35% of all buyers and 51% of all sellers are Seniors.  So many of these folks are struggling with our industry’s fast-paced, ever-changing high tech programs and platforms, not to mention the current, confusing business practice changes and protocols.  This is a huge and important market to capture and serve. Let’s face it … they need our help more than ever! 

Join us to compare and contrast marketing and servicing techniques that best suit the Elders, Boomers, Xers, and even the Ys and Zs who often contribute.  We’ll cover market statistics, demographics, financial habits, housing concerns, utilizing equity, reverse mortgage, ownership options and estate planning.

Objectives:  

As a result of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Analyze market statistics as they relate to demographics, financial habits, and housing concerns of seniors.
  • Segment and distinguish between Elders, Boomers, Xers, Ys and Zs.
  •  Compare financing options for seniors including Reverse Mortgage, Seller Financing,
  •   Sale Leaseback and 1031 Exchange.
  • Summarize popular estate planning tools.
  • Apply marketing and service techniques that address Seniors’ needs.
